Does Lakeland do replacement rubber seals for kilner jars?

Do you mean the metal tops that go in the outer screw top ring? If so they definitely do them in the Lakeland catalogue as I unpacked some from my order yesterday. I haven't actually used the original jars and tops yet but knew it was hard to get replacements so ordered them at them same time so I am ready for future years already Very Happy I also got some replacement rings for my le parfait jars and I haven't even bottled anything yet Very Happy I nearly have enough tomatoes though, just waiting for a few on the windowsill to finish ripening.

they were delivered on thursday, thats really good, and as you can see very well packaged...

six bottles were plastic wrapped in sets, the lids all packed separately, and the whole box stuffed full of bubble wrap. there was also a voucher in there for 5% off my next order if placed within a week.

the two dozen bottles, plus P&P came to £22 -under a pound a bottle so i thought that wasnt bad at all.

... and the black lids in the centre will fit the heinz bottles i was talking about so i am going to email them and see if they will sell me some lids separately...worth a try!!

welll. email them i did on monday, explaining i have lidless recycled bottles i cant use, and was it possible to buy some lids from them.

ive come home today to find a jiffy envelope, containing a plastic bag of 12 brandnew lids, and a slip saying- please accept these with our compliments!!

its so easy to receive poor service from companies, and when you find one that gives excellent customer service its worth shouting about, my first order was dealt with very quickly and efficiently, and now this. i will definitely use them again and would recommend them to others

We used to have a thread for recommending good traders, but I can't see it now. Would it be worth putting this info in a thread with a more obvious heading to make it easier to search for in the future?

Was that the name and shame one? I remember that one, but not what it was called, used to include the goodies as well as the baddies, though.

Brickbats and bouquets?

A hello from JamJarShop . . . glad to see that our parcels arrive in the same condition that we send them out. All that bubble wrap etc is worth the effort. Having happy customers makes us happy too!
