Made soem scones, and a chicken and pumpkin casserole with lentils and bacon ; plus a veggie version for Bean; pear crumble we didn't have last night.

Just peeled and brined 1 1/2 kilos of onions for pickling, and shredded and salted a red cabbage. Trying to think of something for supper..............

Tried this at the weekend. Was very good, although I think I needed smaller pieces of squash cooked longer as they were a bit watery and. well, large!

We really enjoyed it, it's a great recipe. Smile I strained off some of the liquid to make into tasty soup for lunch tomorrow, John, with some crusty homemade bread.
