I thought I was pretty good at filling up my time - I never seem to have a spare moment - but time is dragging at the moment what with being out of work and, importantly, still not able to move around much. So the agenda for today is:

internet search for any job vacancies (ha bluddy ha!)
chase recruitment agent
do a darks wash (already started)
if I am able to get the hoover upstairs, hoover bedroom
try and sew a couple more seams on quilt (Christmas present) - although only managed 10 mins y'day before had to give in!
finish off final applique block in a new quilt
make a lasagne for dinner

I have a big post-illness (well, strictly still ill but on the mend!) and post-half term blitz in our house today...

- Washing up and also re-washing up some of the bits the Sprites very kindly did for me when i was ill

- Doing as many loads of washing as possible including a big hunt for all those disappeared tea towels

- Sorting out the dreadful clean clothes heap that's currently hiding my bedroom floor (my mother would have a fit!)

- Sort out little Sprites toys and move some of them into his new room

- Clean the bathrooms

- Look after little Sprite who's off school poorly Sad

- Make a lovely big batch of chicken soup to boost us all up again

And then, when that's over, I have to start catching up with the paid work bits Shocked and cook something or other for dinner!

Not sure it's all going to fit in today after all.. best crack on then Smile

Today I am going to dig out all the old rucksacks that my son has worn out over the last few years and repurpose them as storage bags for all the empty wine bottles we've got in the garage which are waiting to be filled with hm goodness Laughing
There got to do it now I've written it down!
